Customise, don’t compromise

Incredibly tiny and near invisible in the ear, Signia custom hearing aids are tailor-made for discerning wearers who want the ultimate in discretion and performance. Our Custom Range of Insio primax™ models are fully loaded with an unrivalled combination of technology, reliability and miniaturisation for outstanding sound quality and performance.

Tiny marvels packed with technology

Signia is the world’s only provider of a real directional microphone system for completely-in-the-canal (CIC) hearing aids: binaural OneMic directionality. Thanks to this industry-leading technology, a single microphone in each device delivers superior directionality to the front. As a result, the wearer can comprehend speech in difficult listening situations better than with any of our previous CIC hearing aids in a binaural setup.

Binaural OneMic directionality

Each CIC receives the sound and information not only from its own microphone but also from the microphone of the other hearing aid. This creates a virtual four-microphone network, allowing the pair of hearing aids to create a directional beam. In addition, the natural pinna effect of the outer ear supports this directionality and makes the listening experience even more natural.

Better-than-normal hearing

And that’s not all. The dual microphones in each ITC and ITE device deliver Narrow Directionality for clinically proven better-than-normal hearing in demanding listening situations such as a cocktail party.*

Binaural OneMic directionality allows for enhanced directional hearing – even with CICs.

* A study conducted at the University of Northern Colorado, 2015, examined the effectiveness of the new features of primax by collecting and analysing ongoing EEG data while subjects performed speech testing. For both primax features SPEECH and EchoShield, the objective brain behavior measures revealed a significant reduction in listening effort when the feature was activated.
